This unit deals with the basics of lesson planning and its pros and cons. I personally do not feel prepared without a lesson plan as I tend to forget my main ideas when standing in front of a class with all the students' attention on me. That said, I do not like to plan my lessons in too much detail, but usually include only main points that will help to jog my memory. I really enjoyed studying this unit because it is very applicable to my planning style, and has given me some new ideas that I believe will be effective.
