In this unit I have learnt about the various needs of specific groups. I found the section about teaching children particularly helpful as it listed out ways of keeping their attention, and reasons for them to behave badly. I thought the tip about rearranging the seating plan to combat this very helpful. I also found it comforting to read that I do not need to be a business person in order to teach business English. I found it an interesting point that a lot of the time, adults learning business English are very tired when studying after a hard days work so you may have to adjust your lesson plan to accommodate that. I also found the list of activities to do with Business English students helpful, and the tip about taking them out and evaluating them one on one.
