This lesson helped to reinforce what was learned in unit 3, regarding ESA lesson planning. Because teaching a new language is not always guaranteed to go as planned, it is important to always be prepared to change, whether condensing or expanding an activity, to ensure that the students are fully understanding the language form before moving to the final activation stage. This lesson also provides a well rounded explanation of different techniques for different aspects of the language being taught, making sure to take into account the informal or formal nature of the language form.
