This unit opened my eyes to just how irregular English really is. As a native speaker of English, m=a lot of these rules and exceptions are more or less 'ingrained' within us, utilizing certain forms without realizing or knowing the 'why' behind the form. Since I am already aware of these parts of speech, I used this lesson as a way to self-check what I've learned in the past, making sure I can explain each part of speech at a level that can be understood by new speakers of English. The task sheet was a great resource to think of how I would explain these topics and incorporate activities into my lesson plans, like the Adverb Game.
