I firmly believe, that the future of education depends and is strongly connected to the electronic technologies. Modern phones are basically small computers with an unlimited number of capabilities. It is a vocabulary and it is an audio recorder. It is a camera and it is a newspaper or any other source of an authentic language. Thanks to the rise of social networks you can practise your language, while simply making new acquaintances on the web. One doesn’t have to go to the library to find the answer to some urgent question. Just use google and you will learn everything you wanted to know and even more. Some teachers don’t allow students to use their mobile phones in the classroom and treat it as some sort of distraction. Well, this is clearly a wrong approach. Students should be encouraged to use the electronic devices in their studies, to learn how to search for the needed information and to correct their own mistakes, to get smarter and smarter every day, since all new discoveries of the language always lie within the reach of one’s fingertips.
