Evaluating students are covered in this unit. This can be done through tutorials, student’s evaluation, and tests. The different types of tests are covered with an example of a placement test given. Prior to starting an EFL class placement tests are used to place new students into the correct class level. Throughout the course the teacher can evaluate the student’s progress and give them feedback through progress tests, and practice tests. General examinations, usually taken outside of language schools, are also reviewed.
