Teaching vocabulary, grammar, and sentence functions can be very difficult. In my experience many languages do not form proper sentences while talking in their languages. Such as languages like Chinese. They when translating sentences you will find their is typically no grammatical structure. Teaching how to create these grammatical structures can be difficult for some to grasp. However, teaching these three things can be very boring. It is important to find ways to spark the interest of our students in teaching these. Students like the creativity in the lessons, and it helps break up the lessons. Doing an hour straight of repetitive vocabulary words and already made sentences will cause the students to become bored. By adding in activities like having the students create sentences, or maybe even a role play activity will help the students want to learn the vocabulary, grammar, and functions a little more. Making the classroom exciting while efficient is very important.
