In this unit I have learnt about the various types of modal auxiliary verbs and how they are used. I learnt about the implications behind each modal verb which was interesting, I never considered the percentage of certainty attached to each one, yet when written down it made perfect sense!
I also learnt about the passive voice and how changing the order of the words in the sentence and adding in commas, I can completely change the focus of the sentence from the agent to the subject. In the last part of the module I learnt about phrasal verbs which was the part I found challenging, as there are such subtle differences between the three types.
