This unit was my first introduction to Receptive skills and Productive Skills and the important/difficulties presented when teaching these skills to students. This unit specifically focused on receptive skills and how we as language learners use our reading and listening skills to gather and retrieve information. It also gave a very good and useful example of a reading lesson that both checks student comprehension of the text as well as comprehension of the grammar.
