I have learned the basic parts of speech that make up English language and some of the rules that accompany those speech parts. This unit helps me to understand why sentences are formed the way they are rather than taking for granted that, as native speakers, that's just how we say things. This unit has described the rules of sentence structure as well as how to modify words to make them appropriate to the phrasing of a sentence. This unit helps to identify the parts of speech in a sentence which will help with proper grammar.
