This unit presented two videos demonstrating TEFL lessons, the first one an example of what *not* to do, the second an example of a well-conducted lesson. In the first lesson the instructor was not particularly friendly or professional, which immediately disoriented the students, and it never got better. In the second lesson the instructor was both friendly and more professional, and was much better at engaging his students from the start. I enjoyed watching these videos because they gave me a better idea of what these classes would actually look like. It was mostly fairly obvious what the instructor was doing wrong in the first video, but it helped in identifying what was done particularly well in comparison in the second video.
