Unit eighteen introduces modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice. The unit begins with an overview of the grammar relating to modal auxiliary verbs and some basic rules. The unit then transitions into passive voice including form, usage, typical student mistakes and teaching ideas. Lastly the unit focuses on relative clauses including examples of pronouns in defining relative clauses and phrasal verbs.
