This unit covered equipment and teaching aids that may be used in an EFL classroom. Most of it was fairly self-explanatory, but there were some good tips on how and when to use them most effectively. A key through-line was being familiar with the equipment and teaching aids you plan to use before the class starts, to be more certain that they will work smoothly so as not to waste time, look unprofessional, or even startle or confuse students with the volume being too loud or too low. There was also a listing of different resources that could prove to be useful to use for getting lesson ideas, materials, or general tips for teachers. As such, this would be a good unit to look back on once a new teacher has started a teaching position.
