Learning from all the units prior, I came prepared to be humbled by content. As expected, I was again welcomed by the realisation of the complexities and intricacies of the English language. As a native speaker and writer, you don't necessarily realize immediately how pronunciation plays a big role in how you communicate effectively. In this particular unit specifically, I learned that going through articulation and phonology can be painfully meticulous but absolutely necessary. I will definitely have to go back to my notes a lot when I get to this point in my lesson plan!
