The aim of unit number 6 was to go through, explain and deal with the four past tenses of English language (past simple, past continuous, past perfect, past perfect continuous). Similarly to the unit number 4, which dealt with the present tenses, this unit also focused on the explanation of grammatical structures of these tenses (how they are formed), what is their usage and what kinds of activities and games a teacher can use during the activate stage of the lesson. It was rather informative and I consider it a good recap of what the teaching of the past tenses encompasses and requires.
