Production is always what is focused on in evaluating what students can do with their language ability. It always ends up being a struggle, both on the spoken and the written portions. This section well defines the spoken classifications of accuracy and fluency. Many student's are very fluent, but are consistently inaccurate and visa versa. What I have found is that drilling this fluency and accuracy in both a structured speaking and writing course can yield fantastic results, and this section helps immensely in explaining that.
