From this unit, I learnt how to select and use books and materials. Materials are including Authentic materials and created materials. I also get familiar with the advantages and disadvantages of using course books. There are four different options for course book use: Omit, Replace, Supplement, Adapt. When I analyze a course book, I need to consider following factors: Price, Availability, Design, Methodology, Skills, Difficulty, Syllabus, Topic, Teacher's guide and Ancillary Materials.
