I learned that in the engage phase is where the teacher try to arouse the students' interest and get them involved in the lesson. and to help engage the students teachers can use activities and materials such as games, music, interesting pictures, stories etc. Engage phase is where the aim is to warm up the students and get them thinking and speaking in English as much as possible before going on.
