In this unit I learned different methodologies for teaching and what work best. I learned that ESA is what seems to be most effective and the different structures within the model including Straight Arrow (best for low level classes), Boomerang (for higher level students as they need a lot of vocabulary for activate stages) and Patchwork (also for higher levels and should not be used in classes under and hour). I also received a lot of examples of activities at every stage (Engage, Study and Activate) to incorporate when creating my lesson plans. Lastly, I learned the importance of how and when do give corrections, as well as different techniques and symbols to do so.
