In this unit I learned the many parts of a sentence and the proper structure, including where certain types of words go in the sentence. I learned the different meanings of adjectives, verbs, adverbs, prepositions and conjunctions, as well as their many sub-groups. I also took in tips and examples about how to teach some of these things in a classroom. For example, the fact that there are many irregular verbs that need to be memorized and a chart might help learners (and teachers) to memorize.
