The unit covered the tense systems. The unit taught me about the simple present tense, present perfect tense, present continuous tense, along with their forms (negative, affirmative and question forms) as well as how to use them. The unit also helped me in understanding the common mistakes students of English might make when structuring sentences, as well as the ways in which I may help students to practice tenses.
