This units two main parts were reported speech and conditionals. For me, conditionals are a lot easier to understand but I was not aware of how the tense changes whether the conditional is more or less likely to occur. Or if it will never occur and is simply a hypothetical. But conditionals were easier for me to understand and teach where as reported speech seems more complicated for me. Changing the tense seems confusing and as I have learned English naturally from a child I was not aware of the rules and found that a lot of the reported speech tenses all sounded right to me. However, according to the rules they were not.
