This unit teaches the clauses that help students form a conditional sentence. The five main conditionals are zero, first, second, third, and mixed. This unit has helped me to review the past, present, and future tenses. This unit also teaches reported speech, and the changes in tense from direct speech to reported speech. The teaching ideas included in this unit have helped me understand how to present technical concepts, like time expressions, in ways that encourage students to experiment with the language.
