This unit was a great review of my basic understanding of the English language. There were things that I don't remember ever learning like the difference between a countable noun and an uncountable noun. I learned about the different rules for certain words that I took for granted since it came naturally to me as an English speaker. It puts into perspective just how difficult the English language is to learn due to rules that are not always definitive such as irregular verb forms, while also taking into account the amount of variations a single word may have including forms like past participle and present participle.
