In this unit I was able to learn how to deal with the common problems in teaching, mostly in the first class. I was introduced to methods on establishing rapport in class. Some of the procedures that can be use to establish rapport are surveys and pass the ball game. In addition I was shown how to use warmers before starting a class to motivate students. This unit additionally explain how to deal with large classes, native language use in the classroom,reluctant students and difficulties with listening text. Overall this unit was very useful on explaining what steps to take on my first class.
