In the unit, it covers teaching productive skills which entail speaking and writing which are equally important skills to master for the students. The unit has taught me the difference between fluency and accuracy and how I have to use these activities to ensure that students grasp the English language effectively and efficiently. I think that it is important to note that when students are grouped together for the lessons that they may learn better as this is part of student to student interaction and students learn in this way as well. The use of games as an activity is a practical and fun way to teach and this provides a useful practice of the language and the information is retained better in this way.
