This lesson seemed to be mostly common sense, but still presented many perspectives that I wouldn't have thought of. Course books seem to be used in every course, but are usually dry, boring, and poor for motivating students. Without motivation and interesting materials to learn from, courses are often ineffective. When, how, and what to use as supplementary and replacement material is of critical importance in providing students with the best opportunity to be successful in the class, along with providing for motivation and keeping interest levels high.
