Going over the Straight Arrow lesson is very suiting to this unit because like the lesson, this unit is straight in its content. It showcases various skills students may employ when interacting with English texts. The different skills serve different purposes and it is helpful to know when to use which. For instance, if a student is looking for a specific paragraph detailing an event they wish to write about, it would be helpful for them to know that they can scan the text until they find what they are looking for without having to read everything.
