Unit 12 covers the teaching of the productive skills: speaking and writing. A section of this unit also addresses using games in the classroom and it provided a list of potential games to use.
In the unit it was stated that many consider writing to be a skill often overlooked in the classroom. In many ways I have to agree with that statement. I feel we teachers could be including writing practice, in smaller doses perhaps, more frequently within lessons. And I was reminded of the importance of constantly addressing punctuation and the English conventions in writing.
