For this unit I watched two videos of demonstration class lessons to compare and contrast. The first video was clearly the 'what not to do' example. It was interesting to see how a teacher could be going through the motions of a lesson without really teaching. It was interesting seeing how the whole lesson started negatively by the teacher asking the students a question repeatedly that no one could answer. The second video showed how an effective lesson should progress and demonstrated how important the attitude of the teacher is to the students' learning.
