This unit has enabled me to understand clearly how a lesson should be planned. A teacher should not just pop in a class and assume that since he or she knows what the students need, how he or she delivers it should not matter to students. A well thought out lesson plan will make a teacher focus on the area that is needed, track students' progress and make him or her keep records for future reference or for use by another teacher. This is an awesome way of assessing oneself as a teacher whether the methods they use worked or failed
