Compared with the last lesson, this unit gave my brain a break and was very helpful and enjoyable to read. I currently teach small and big classrooms of young kids and at times it is very hard to control, maintain order and respect and teach in a language in which I have nobody to interpret the native meaning. So, this was vey helpful to me. I learned that the most important thing to balance is teacher talking time and student talking time and I feel that I currently find myself talking a lot, and perhaps too much. I learned that it is important to allow the students to talk to one another in pairs or teams and to try to solve problems and do assignments in english as opposed to just listening to and repeating what i say.
