Within this unit, I learned how to effectively communicate the differences between present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous along with how to clearly teach and present those tenses, rather than just understanding them being a native speaker. It also covered how the English language has 12 tenses that we will teach, while most Asian languages only have 1, showing the necessity to be able to explain the tenses to students.
