This was a good unit to refresh and remind me of words that I use every day, but don't always think about what part of speech they are. It was good to be reminded of the order of adjectives when using several to describe a noun. Also, I was reminded of the order sequence of adverbs. These are both challenging to international students. The whole section on adverbs was a help to not just think of -ly words as adverbs, but there are many that do not end in -ly. It was challenging to come up with examples of all the different parts of speech. I look forward to learning some of these in more detail.
