In lesson 1, I learned how teachers and students interact on various levels. It was interesting to view the classroom from both the teacher's side as well as the student's. It showed me how my style of teaching or the roles of a teacher that I most resemble can have strengths and weaknesses. For instance, I believe I am a good facilitator, but I need to have a good balance of when to help and when to hold back. I found the section on Learners interesting, especially that I need to be aware of their background and personality traits that affect how they will learn.
