Quite a learning curve for me as learning the names of tenses and identifying them is not something I remember doing at school. I found it laborious and confusing especially as many of the names/titles are similar. This is in line with the methodology lesson and I am already thinking about how I can perhaps make this easier for students especially when we think about how we learned as kids through absorption. I have learnt from my own experiences of learning French to a reasonable level how some processes inhibit our absorption and learning. I have also seen with my own son who is bilingual how naturally he took on two languages. There's food for thought here on how I can make it easier or more natural.
