This chapter is about course books and materials. The three main types of materials are authentic materials, created materials, and course books. Authentic materials are things like magazines, newspapers, and radio reports. The advantage of these aerials is that they are intended for a native speaker of that language and provide a real example of what the student would encounter. The disadvantage is that they can be quite challenging.
