This unit is exceedingly helpful as I have the tendency to limit my teaching to only a couple methods (I typically teach foreign law students writing in English as well as undergraduate courses to native speakers, but many of the methods are applicable). ESA provides me an easy reminder to organize my lessons more effectively (and when to engage and not to engage as a teacher). When teaching English, being older and based on my training, I know I typically fall back on the grammar-translation approach. I will practice other methods more, particularly as I may be teaching younger children in the future.
