This unit gives a brief overview of the 12 tenses used in the English language. It describes in detail the four types of present tenses. I am learning that I definitely have to brush up on my knowledge of grammar rules. I find it very exciting to learn as an older adult all the rules I obviously took for granted as a native speaker. I realize also if I would like to be an effective teacher I will have to learn to implement creative ways of teaching so I can help my students get through the more tedious work of grammar points.
