This unit gave me a good knowledge about the different types of materials you can use for teaching. First of all, you need to consider wether you want to use real materials or creates ones, and it will depend on the needs and level of your students. Real materials are generally better for several reasons, but they are not appropriate for beginner students. I found it very interesting to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of using a course book, and it's important to remember that the teacher should not rely 100% on the book for teaching, but rather supplement or adapt the content to each situation.
