Unit 17 is teaching about the varies equipment teachers need or can have to make an effective teaching environment. These teaching aids help teachers manage the activities as well as make the activities more interesting to the students. Some of these aids include boards, projectors, worksheets, videos, etc. I learned that when using whichever aid, you need to give yourself enough time to either prepare what will be done for the classroom or practice once over the activity in need of the aid. A teacher wouldn’t want to use a video just to find out that video is not appropriate to the student’s levels or that the DVD is broken and won’t work at all.
