This unit addresses the use of book materials while teaching English and provides a list of advantages and disadvantages of using a course book. This unit also discusses using authentic materials vs. created materials and when each is appropriate. The unit also provides examples of each. It was also helpful to learn about how to utilize a course book effectively in class and view examples of course book materials that can be used for an ESA leson. I was also able to learn about the different ways to incorporate work book materials into a lesson and adapting them to fit the needs of the class.
