As a primary school teacher myself I agree with the comments about what makes a good teacher. I also agree that the teacher needs to find the key to help motivate the students if they do not already have the necessary motivation. Personally, I am excited to teach adults who are motivated to learn, as I often have to motivate the students in my classes. And as a language student myself (Russian and Spanish), I understand the need to make the students' learning fun and engaging, as I've been struggling to learn these languages on my own! There are many different roles as mentioned that a teacher needs to use to engage the students and making the learners feel safe and comfortable is an important part of the role of a teacher. A good teacher needs to be able to adapt to the different abilities and learning styles and levels of each student.
