This unit provided a clear definition of a teacher and learner. I felt empowered after learning and understanding the various roles to being a good teacher and ways to cultivate a conducive environment for a student to grow in their process of learning a foreign language. Learning a foreign language is not a simple process and each person learns differently. Hence its important as a teacher to equip oneself with various teaching styles that will support the learning process for each individual student.
