This unit covers the different variety of tests an ESL teacher may encounter. From placement tests to measure a students current proficiency, to external exams required for university, foreign schools or businesses. The sheer breadth of exams is quite staggering, and to understand that each of these exams can have specialized courses designed around them is a humbling realization. I do find this overview very helpful, as I can see the specific tests that I'm likely to run into based on my direction as a teacher.
