This unit covered basic English grammar and parts of speech. The unit described the basic parts of speech that make up sentences in the English language such as nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc. It also broke down the differences within each part of speech such as demonstrating and differentiating between the different types of nouns, pronouns, prepositions, etc. I was given a good refresher on how to correctly identify the important aspects and structures of creating coherent sentences in the English language. As a native speaker I usually don't have to think about the subject or object of a sentence, or how I go about correctly structuring sentences.
