There are many methodologies applied to language teaching. However, it is hard to say which one is the most effective. Some certain conclusions can be drawn. First, students should be more exposed to languages they are learning. Also, the certain amount of input from teachers is necessary. More importantly, teachers should encourage students to speak more and practice more. From my perspective, teachers should try their best to arouse students' interest in the language learning and focus on the construction of the languages. Moreover, there are different orders about ESA. For example,straight arrow ESA which caters to lower level students more.Boomerang ESA LESSON can be used to predict what students really need in the later process of study. Patchwork ESA lesson can be designed to aim at higher-level students because it requires great deal of flexibility. Definitely, I am much clearer what kinds of games or activities I should use in terms of each stage, when to give feedback, how to correct students as well.
