This unit goes over more grammar points, namely modal and phrasal verbs, as well as the passive voice. Grammar is a very complicated subject, and the information presented here only scratches the surface of the depth involved. I do find this information very important as it does provide me with the necessary tools to teach grammar at a beginner level suitable for ESL students. The subtlety involved with modal verbs, with the shifts in certainty and politeness, can be challenging to students. The differences between could, may, or might for instance, is difficult to articulate, even for native speakers. Phrasal verbs I can also see being a difficult subject, as students now have to face multi-word verbs, with differences relating to the object in the sentence.
