This unit covered the different types of external exams an EFL student might be faced with, as well as the different types of tests an EFL teacher might choose to administer, and why. It is useful for an EFL teacher to be familiar with the different types of exams that students may be studying for, as a student studying for the TOEIC will have different goals than a student studying for the KET. I have learned about the exams my students will likely encounter, as well as the differences between the tests I will administer in class.
