The two videos presented two lessons with very different progression and outcome. The first showed an evident lack of preparation on behalf of the teacher. He did not make clear demonstrations or instructions when it came to discussing the tasks, breeding further confusion among the students. His pointing fingers at students instead of simply using their names was very disrespectful. He also seemed to lack any patience. The structure of the lesson was also illogical, lacking the Engage phase, starting in medias res with grammar.
The second lesson a kinder, more eager teacher. He smiled and encouraged students, praising their contributions. He was not at all dismissing as previously. Students could also interact with each other more effectively. This concluded in a successful lesson with the desired aims achieved.
